No one told us that parenting would sometimes be difficult. We spend most of our time and energy making sure we meet the needs of our kids but often times, we forget about ourselves. We’ve been mostly posting about what parents could do to help build their children’s resilience. Today’s post will serve as a reminder for us that in order to meet the emotional physical needs of our children, we have to make sure that our own needs are not neglected. It is important that we practice healthier habits and just by adding a few minutes of self-care to our daily routine, we will start to feel more energized and less stressed.

Here are some parental self-care ideas to consider – https://www.peps.org/ParentResources/by-topic/self-care/self-care-for-parents
